WTM’s PLAYER PROFILE
Arrieta signed out of Colombia at age 19.  The Pirates sent him to the Dominican Summer League initially in 2018, but they moved him up to the GCL after that league started play.  He throws an 89-91 mph fastball, a slider and a big, slow curve.
