For a more in depth review of yesterday’s games please check out our minor league wrap-up which can be found here. The big news today is obviously the first professional start of 1st round draft pick Jameson Taillon, but as of this morning the weather report for tonight in Charleston, WV does not look too favorable. Possibly just as important as Taillon’s first pro start is the start in Indianapolis by Brad Lincoln who has struggled thus far. He has still posted a strong K rate and not walked a batter in three starts but has not posted a quality start yet and the Pirates could really benefit from him pitching as well as he has shown in the past. Lineups for today’s games will be posted as soon as they are made available.
