P2Daily: Pirates Prospects Daily, Delivered FREE to Your Inbox

Published:

Pirates Prospects returned last week, after spending half a year on a reduced publishing schedule, and a few months of the site being offline as I contemplated a server change, and really, whether I wanted to maintain this operation.

This site has been 100% individually owned for 15 years now. I’ve spent my excess value each year trying to provide paid opportunities to other inspiring writers. I’ve wrestled with the many changes to online advertising, subscription models, and the new incursions of Artificial Intelligence and venture capitalist money. At this point, this site needs a few hundred paid subscribers per month just to survive on its own. From there, I need several hundred more, plus the advertising from every article, in order to allow me to survive and do this full-time. If my effort drops below full-time, the site collapses, which was simulated many times last year.

I embrace the challenge of running this site, because I still love the subject, and I want to see Pirates fans experience a winner. I know that there are a lot of hardcore Pirates fans who have used this site for years to keep track of what is happening with the team and the organization. Therefore, I wanted something on the site to make that process easier.

Pirates Prospects Daily will be a free daily newsletter, delivered to your inbox. And, because you are ultimately here to follow the team, P2Daily will provide the daily results throughout the system. The latter is the main focus of this article. This site won’t have a daily prospect watch, or a daily game story, or daily news articles. Everything will be combined into this article, which will be delivered to your inbox each day.
