Mitch Keller Named to National League All-Star Team

The National League All-Star teams were announced on Sunday night. The Pittsburgh Pirates will be represented in the game by right-handed pitcher Mitch Keller. This will be Keller’s first All-Star appearance.

Keller has a 9-3, 3.34 record over 17 starts this year, with a 1.10 WHIP and a 118:28 SO/BB ratio in 105 innings.

His season has been worth 2.4 WAR, which is seventh best among NL pitchers. He ranks second in strikeouts, fourth in innings pitched and third in wins.

The All-Star game will take place Tuesday July 11th in Seattle.
