Tyler Heineman Returns; Zack Collins to IL

The Pittsburgh Pirates activated catcher Tyler Heineman off of the 7-day concussion injured list prior to Sunday’s game. Zack Collins see his season come to a close, as he is placed on the 10-day IL due to illness, opening up a roster spot.

Heineman last played on September 17th. He is hitting .222/.286/.267 in 49 games this season. He is in Sunday’s lineup.

Collins really struggled during his time with the Pirates, going 1-for-25 with a single and three walks, leading to a .178 OPS in ten games.
