Daily Video Rundown

Connor Scott

The outfielder, acquired in the Jacob Stallings trade, hit his first home run since April 16th against the Richmond Flying Squirrels. It’s been a rough stretch for Scott offensively, but did pick up four hits, two for extra-bases, this past week against Harrisburg.

Liover Peguero

Peguero was one of the dominating offensive forces in the Eastern League for the first two months of the season. He struggled in June, batting just .231 and only driving in three runs.

While it has been the best of starts to July, he was able to get on the board when it comes to run producing, picking up a RBI on Sunday.

Roldolfo Nolasco

The outfielder is still trying to find a consistent stroke this season, but has been one of Bradenton’s most reliable source of power. He picked up his 10th double of the year, and now has 33 RBI after this hit on Sunday.

Deivis Nadal

A search for consistency is one of the most common things you can say about a lot of the Bradenton hitters. Deivis Nadal falls under that category. He will have some good games, but then go quiet for a couple of days. Sunday was one of the good ones, getting on base four times (two hits, walk, hit by pitch), scoring three runs, driving in one and stealing two bases.

Nadal opens up the scoring in the bottom of the first two a RBI single. Bradenton put on a hit-and-run, so it was nearly two.

Blake Sabol

With Henry Davis (and now Jason Delay) catching, Sabol has gotten more time this past week in the outfield to get in the lineup. Sunday he was back behind the plate and showed off his arm throwing out notable former Pirate John Nogowski.
