Welcome to the Pirates Prospects daily video rundown, where we pull some of the top videos of the Pittsburgh Pirates across the internet.

Daily Video Rundown

Henry Davis

It’s been a rough stretch for Henry Davis. He tore up Greensboro before getting promoted to Altoona, then played in two games before missing a couple of weeks with a wrist injury. He’s struggled to adjust to Double-A, most likely due to being in and out of the lineup with the injury.

We saw a little bit of that offensive ability, as Davis went 2-for-3, with a double and two RBI in Altoona’s win on Friday. He also drew a walk on the night.

Connor Scott

In the absence of him hitting, Scott has picked up his play defensively, flashing the glove multiple times recently. He continued that with this catch on Friday, this time in center field.

He also drove in a run with a RBI double earlier in the game, breaking the tie with Altoona eventually winning.

Josh Bissonette

Bissonette hit his second double of the week for Indianapolis, which is also his fifth overall on the season.

After bouncing around many websites covering hockey, he refocused his attention to baseball, his first love when it comes to sports. He eventually found himself here at Pirates Prospects in late 2021, where he covers the team’s four full season minor league affiliates.
