Welcome to the Pirates Prospects daily video rundown, where we pull some of the top videos of the Pittsburgh Pirates across the internet.

Daily Video Rundown

Rodolfo Nolasco

The 20-year-old isn’t having the easiest time adjusting to Low-A, but has had his moments. Nolasco has slashed .208/.288/.304 with nine extra-base hits and four stolen bases. He’s striking out 31.6% of the time, but has also drawn walks in 10% of his plate appearances.

In Bradenton’s loss on Tuesday, he did collect two hits, and drove in three runs. He now has 13 RBIs on the year.

Matt Gorski

It didn’t take long for Matt Gorski to make his presence known at the Double-A level, hitting a home run in his first game for Altoona.

In total, Gorski went 2-for-5 with the home run, 3 RBI, and also stole his 10th base of the season.

Oneil Cruz

Cruz has yet to crack the Mendoza line but he has started to do this more often.

Anthony began writing over 10 years ago, starting a personal blog to cover the 2011 MLB draft, where the Pirates selected first overall. After bouncing around many websites covering hockey, he refocused his attention to baseball, his first love when it comes to sports. He eventually found himself here at Pirates Prospects in late 2021, where he covers the team’s four full season minor league affiliates.
