Get Last Minute Gift Subscriptions and the 2019 Prospect Guide

Christmas is only a day away, and we have some last-minute gift options for those Pirates fans in your life, especially those who are difficult to shop for. You can purchase a Pirates Prospects gift subscription or a 2019 Prospect Guide eBook and have the gift delivered before Christmas.

The gift subscriptions are available as one-year gifts, or three-year options. The Prospect Guide was just released, and currently includes the top 50 prospects. There will be at least one other update to the book this offseason, with additional updates coming after any significant move that impacts the books. The book is available for just $19.99, and one purchase gets you all of the updates.

The 2019 season will be our 11th season covering the Pirates. Our coverage includes daily analysis of the Pirates and their minor league teams, along with reports on how the prospects did during the season or in winter ball, and other resources such as a payroll tracker and pages for every player in the system. Your gift subscription will give access to all of the content on the site.

You can purchase a gift subscription or the 2019 Prospect Guide here.

Tim started Pirates Prospects in 2009 from his home in Virginia, which was 40 minutes from where Pedro Alvarez made his pro debut in Lynchburg. That year, the Lynchburg Hillcats won the Carolina League championship, and Pirates Prospects was born from Tim's reporting along the way. The site has grown over the years to include many more writers, and Tim has gone on to become a credentialed MLB reporter, producing Pirates Prospects each year, and will publish his 11th Prospect Guide this offseason. He has also served as the Pittsburgh Pirates correspondent for Baseball America since 2019. Behind the scenes, Tim is an avid music lover, and most of the money he gets paid to run this site goes to vinyl records.

Pirates Prospects has been independently owned and operated since 2009, entirely due to the support of our readers. The site is now completely free, funded entirely by user support. By supporting the site, you are supporting independent writers, one of the best Pittsburgh Pirates communities online, and our mission for the most complete Pirates coverage available.
