Alen Hanson, 2B, Indianapolis – 6.71 RC

Stats: 10-for-28, 2 2B, 2 3B, 3 BB

Notes: Hanson is continuing his trend of heating up in the month of May, after having a cold April. He had a .549 OPS in the month of April, but has rebounded well with an .890 OPS this month. He enters this week having reached base safely in eight straight games, with hits in seven of those games. He’s going to need an injury to Neil Walker in order to get significant time in the majors this year, and even then he might be blocked by Jung-ho Kang, depending on how the other positions play out.
