Minor Moves: Sadler to the DL, Rojas Activated From the DL

Here are the minor league transactions today:

**Casey Sadler has been placed on the Altoona DL with a right knee contusion. The right-hander left his last start after one batter after being hit in the knee with a comebacker to the mound.

**Mel Rojas has been activated from the DL. Rojas was placed on the DL a week ago with a left oblique injury. The return is good to see, as Rojas was hitting for a .304/.366/.459 line in 135 at-bats from the second week of May to the time he went on the DL.

**Pat Ludwig has been promoted to Bradenton. The Marauders are in need of pitching help due to a double header and extra innings game over the weekend. Their game tonight was postponed, which should help the pitching staff. It’s not yet known whether Ludwig will be up for good, or if he’s just short-term help. In 49 innings with West Virginia this year Ludwig had a 3.12 ERA, and a 44:16 K/BB ratio, so he’s definitely deserving of the promotion.

**Colten Brewer has been placed on the Jamestown DL with a Right Lower Leg stress reaction. The move was retroactive 6/29, so it’s possible he might only miss one start.
