Garrett threw 5.2 innings his last start on Friday night allowing just 2 unearned runs. He has made 11 starts and 5 relief appearances without picking up a loss. As a starter this year he has a 2-0 2.29 record with 40 strikeouts in 51 innings.He is the ERA leader for Indianapolis.

Irwin makes his 7th start with Altoona tonight. He has also made one relief appearance. His last outing on Friday night he gave up 3 runs in 6 innings while taking his 2nd straight loss. Tyler will get his 17th start and 19th overall appearance. On Friday night he went 6 innings allowing two runs. He last faced Lakewood on June 18th and got the win going 7 innings while giving up 2 runs. Waldron has a 5-1 3.96 record in 10 home games this year. He has allowed the 2nd most hits, home runs and walks among West Virginia pitchers. He is also 2nd in innings trailing Colton Cain by four.

State College is in 6th place in their division, ten games out of 1st place. The other five teams in the league are all within one game of each other in the standings. The Spikes now have the worst record in the 14 team NYPL.
