(AM UPDATE)  Perth Heat 4,  Adelaide Bite 2 —
This is the Bite’s first loss of the season, giving them a 4-1 record.  LF Quincy Latimore is once again doing his part for the Bite.  He went 2-for-4 in the game with a single and a double.  In the top of the 1st, Latimore’s double followed a single, putting two runners into scoring position.  An RBI ground out by 1B Ben Wigmore drove in one run.  In the 2nd, a walk, a double, and a single added a second run for the Bite.  Latimore also singled in the 5th inning.  Former Altoona Curve Paul Mildren made the start for the Bite.  He gave up one unearned run in the bottom of the 2nd on a single, a walk, and a fielding error.  A 2-run homer gave Perth the lead in the 4th inning, and another home run produced an insurance run in the 5th.  Mildren started the bottom of the 6th and got two outs, then was relieved for the final out of the inning.
