Arizona Fall League Recap: 10/28

Justin Wilson and Aaron Pribanic combined for five strong innings, but the Mesa Solar Sox lost 6-4:

-Josh Harrison (.360) started in left field, batting second.  Harrison continued his hot hitting streak, going 3-for-5 with a double, a run, a stolen base, and an RBI.  Harrison is 10-for-14 at the plate over the last three games, with five doubles and a homer.

-Jordy Mercer (.308) started at shortstop, batting fifth.  Mercer went 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI.

-Tony Sanchez (.267) started at catcher, batting seventh.  He went 0-for-3 with two walks.

-Justin Wilson (2.57) pitched three innings, allowing a run on three hits, with no walks and three strikeouts.  Wilson threw 46 pitches, with 32 going for strikes.

-Aaron Pribanic (0.00) continued his impressive run in the AFL, pitching two shutout innings, allowing two hits, with no walks or strikeouts.  Pribanic threw 25 pitches, with 14 for strikes.

Mesa plays Scottsdale tomorrow at 6:35 PM MST/9:35 PM EST.
