Arizona Fall League Recap: 10/22

Justin Wilson got the start tonight, but the Mesa Solar Sox lost 6-2:

-Andrew Lambo (.263) started in right field, batting fourth for the fourth straight game.  Lambo went 1-for-4 with a double in his first at-bat.

-Josh Harrison (.161) started at second base, batting eighth.  Harrison went 0-for-4.

-Tony Sanchez (.318) started at catcher, batting seventh.  Sanchez went 1-for-3 and allowed a stolen base in the only attempt of the game.

-Justin Wilson (2.25) pitched two innings, allowing a run on three hits, with no walks, two strikeouts, and a home run allowed.  Wilson threw 27 pitches, 18 for strikes.  Pitch F/X data was available for the game.  Wilson threw 19 fastballs, ranging from 88-92 MPH, and averaging 89.8 MPH.  He only hit 92 once, and hit 88 three times.  He threw three sliders, one at 83, and two at 84 MPH.  His curveball ranged from 74-77 MPH, while he threw two changeups, both at 83 MPH.

Mesa plays Surprise tomorrow at 6:35 PM MST/9:35 PM EST.
