The Pirates have Gold Glove third basemen in Ke'Bryan Hayes and Jared Triolo. They've got another candidate in the system in power hitter Jack Brannigan.

Puerto Rican League
The Puerto Rican league wrapped up regular season play with Ponce in first place, and Arecibo 4 games behind in second, Santurce 7.5 games back in third place, and Caguas and Mayaguez tied for 4th, both 8 games behind.
The winter leagues get a break for New Years' Eve and New Years Day, so we'll look at another player recently signed by the Pirates to a minor league contract.
