Andy Vasquez started at shortstop for the first time this Winter and went 1-for-4. He has seen limited action all season.
Michael Martinez went 1-for-4 with an RBI and two strikeouts. He also threw out a runner at home from center field. He is hitting .200 through 14 games, with six RBIs. He drove in three of those runs in his last game.
Atahualpa Severino got a foul out to first base from the only batter he faced on Tuesday and he picked up the win. Severino came in for Carlos Marmol in the eighth inning, with a man on third base and two outs. He has thrown a total of 10.1 shutout innings over his last 13 appearances.
In Venezuela, Andrew Lambo went 0-for-6 during a doubleheader. He was pinch-hit for in the fifth inning of game two. Game one was the makeup of a rainout from before Lambo joined the team. He played first base in game one and right field in game two.
Junior Sosa went 1-for-5 with two runs scored. He is batting .333 over 13 games and has recently been moved to the lead-off spot.
In Puerto Rico, Benji Gonzalez continued his hot hitting. He went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored. He is hitting .387 through 11 games, with five doubles and a triple.
Ivan De Jesus Jr. went 1-for-3 with a double and RBI. He is batting .279 in 31 games and is still a free agent.
