All of the final mock drafts are coming out this morning, and Jonathan Mayo is the next to release his picks. Mayo has Reese McGuire going to the Pirates with the ninth pick and Hunter Renfroe going to Pittsburgh 14th overall.

That’s the third mock draft today that has McGuire going to the Pirates with the ninth pick. Mayo says that the Pirates should be targeting a bat, with McGuire, Austin Meadows, and D.J. Peterson in the mix. He has Meadows going 10th overall and Peterson going 12th.

It seems that most people have the Pirates picking between Peterson and Renfroe with the 14th pick, and with Peterson gone, Renfroe is the pick for Mayo. Mayo says that Renfroe has “tools galore”, noting that he also performed in one of the best college conferences, the SEC.

**UPDATE   Mayo has updated his last mock draft less than two hours before the draft starts and he now has the Pirates taking Austin Meadows with the first pick. This is the first time in a long time we are hearing someone other than Reese McGuire with the ninth pick.

He also changes the Pirates second pick now, moving Renfroe up one spot and D.J. Peterson now takes his place.
