Game Notes: Jameson Taillon pitched six innings for his third straight start. He coasted through several innings, needing just seven pitches in the second, four in the third, and nine in the fourth. The only time he ran in to trouble was in the fifth, when he gave up three hits. However, he got out of the jam without allowing any runs. Taillon has a 1.47 ERA in 36.2 innings this year, with a 36:7 K/BB ratio. Bradenton got homers from Stefan Welch, Dan Grovatt, and Wes Freeman. Welch extended his hitting streak to 13 games earlier in the game with a double. Five Marauders hitters had multiple hits, all of them hitting in the 2-6 spots in the lineup.
