Carmen Mlodzinski returns to Altoona after a trip to the 7-day injured list on May 12th. He ended up missing exactly a week. His last start was on May 7th and he went three innings with one run on one hit, one walk and four strikeouts. Mlodzinski has a 4.63 ERA in 23.1 innings, with a 1.29 WHIP and 25 strikeouts.
Daniel Amaral has been released. He went 0-for-3 in two games this season, spending most of the year on the developmental list, serving as an available extra for Altoona. The 2018 14th round pick hit .218/.302/.368 in 68 games for Altoona last year. He stole 51 bases in 63 attempts during his career.
Bradenton infielder Juan Jerez has been placed on the 7-day IL. The 20-year-old Jerez is hitting .192/.274/.263 in 28 games this season.
