There were some quick notes from Friday afternoon regarding the latest developments on the MLB work stoppage. We had an article on Thursday afternoon with some updates, which can be found here. A few things have come up since then worth mentioning.
Evan Drellich from The Athletic reported that MLB will deliver a new economic proposal to the players on Tuesday.
Major League Baseball plans to deliver a new economics proposal to the Players Association on Tuesday, sources said.

Before Drellich broke the news, Jon Heyman had an update on the health situation talks, saying that the negotiations between the two sides have been promising.
Clubs and players discussion/negotiation regarding health protocols has been “promising.” Of course both sides have same goal: a safe environment for players. The economic part of the talk will be harder, it is widely acknowledged. 1st MLB proposal thought coming within days.

David Lennon from Newsday has an article on the progress being made. Link in the tweet.

Jon Heyman just posted this afternoon that he’s hearing more optimism on both sides…
Hearing more optimism on both sides now although MLB official proposal hasn’t been quite made yet. Deal won’t come easy but players and owners, who both will lose $, also understand they can’t cancel season over $. MLB offer likely coming Tuesday, as @EvanDrellich reported.

It looks like we should hear a lot more on the situation either Tuesday night or Wednesday. If anything else comes up today, I’ll add it below.
