Heredia, who turns 29 later this month, has played four seasons in the majors. He debuted in 2016 with the Seattle Mariners, before getting traded to the Tampa Bay Rays prior to the 2019 season. He has been extremely consistent on offense in the majors, with a high of a .668 OPS (2019) and a low of .652 (2017). Heredia is a below average runner, with six steals in 18 attempts during his big league career. Those aren’t great overall numbers obviously, but when combined with solid defense from a corner spot (slightly below average in CF), he makes a decent bench option.
We will post an update if any details are announced.
