For the third year in a row, the Only Bucs message board is conducting a poll to determine the top 30 prospects in the Pirates system. Each slot has its own poll, with each poll lasting two days. The voting kicked off this morning with the number one spot. Once the organization’s top prospect is selected, that player will be removed from the list and voting will begin for the number two prospect. That process will continue until 30 players have been selected. At two days per slot, the voting should wrap up right around the beginning of spring training. There are some excellent discussions included in each thread, so it is also a great place to learn about any minor league players you may not have had the chance to see yet.
If you are interested, be sure to head over and cast your vote. The more input, the better. You will have to register before voting, but that is a pretty simple process.
