| Ledezma has spent parts of seven seasons in the majors, with a career 5.17 ERA, a 6.2 K/9 ratio, and a 4.4 BB/9 ratio. Ledezma isn’t much of a LOOGY, with a career .292 BAA versus left handers in the majors, compared to a .274 BAA versus right handers. Ledezma had a 4.17 ERA in 58.1 innings in 2008, although he was lucky, with a 1.58 WHIP, thanks to a 6.3 BB/9 ratio. Ledezma has good numbers in his career at AAA, with a 3.82 ERA in 158 innings, with a 8.4 K/9, and 3.8 BB/9. However, he hasn’t transformed that success over to the majors. Ledezma will get a chance to make the Pirates in 2010 with an invite to the Major League portion of Spring Training. |
