The Pirates seem increasingly inclined to move their older Latin American signees quickly.  They initially sent Dicent to the DSL, but after four appearances there he moved up to the GCL.  He pitched in relief a dozen times in the GCL and then got into two games for Bristol.  He wasn’t that effective at any level, with varying degrees of control trouble, but he missed a lot of bats and it was his first pro season.

Dicent was hurt at the start of 2019 and was able to pitch only briefly in the GCL and at Bristol.

Hopefully, Dicent will be fully healthy in 2020.
