| Soto was 20 when he signed and he got only a small bonus. He appears to have some speed and to be able to play anywhere in the outfield.
2017 Soto played all the outfield positions and had a solid season, lacking only power. He had remarkable walk and K rates. 2018 Soto was invited to fall instructionals after the 2017 season. He probably would have gone to the GCL or even Bristol (given his age) in 2018, but a knee injury knocked him out for the season. Soto will probably get another shot at a rookie-level slot in 2019, if he’s ready to go. |
