Minor Moves: Kyle Nicolas Returns

The Altoona Curve activated right-handed pitcher Kyle Nicolas from the 7-day injured list on Saturday afternoon. To make room roster, infielder Claudio Finol was sent back to Altoona from Greensboro.

Nicolas was on the injured list for three weeks after giving up one earned run over 4.1 innings in his start on June 3rd. This season in ten starts, he has a 3.98 ERA, a 1.25 WHIP, a .233 BAA and a 54:16 SO/BB in 40.2 innings for Altoona.

Finol has bounced between Greensboro and Altoona as a backup infielder, batting .167/.242/.267 in 12 games between both stops.
