Game Recap:

Trey McGough got the start today, coming into the game without an earned run allowed this season, though a Spring Training injury set him back a few weeks with his start to the year. He gave up a lead-off homer on Thursday morning, then settled down to allow two more hits over three innings with another run. Cody Bolton replaced him and went 1.2 innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on three hits, one walk and two strikeouts. Cam Vieaux came out next and tossed a scoreless frame, followed by 1.1 shutout innings from Hunter Stratton. Yerry De Los Santos was given the two-inning save opportunity, but a bunt single, stolen base and a two-out single tied the game 5-5 in the top of the ninth. The game was suspended in the middle of the ninth inning due to rain and it will be completed tomorrow ahead of the regularly scheduled game.

Indianapolis scored their runs on a Taylor Davis single, a two-run Oneil Cruz triple, an error and a Canaan Smith-Njigba bases loaded walk. Cal Mitchell will be up with no outs and no one on when the game resumes.
