Pirates Game Discussion: Pirates vs Cardinals, 4:15 PM; Opening Day…Hayes Update

The Pittsburgh Pirates open up the 2022 regular season in St Louis, taking out the Cardinals at 4:15 PM today. JT Brubaker will be the Opening Day starter for the Pirates, while the Cardinals are countering with veteran right-hander Adam Wainwright, who will be making his 42nd start against the Pirates.

UPDATE: Ke’Bryan Hayes reached an agreement on a long-term deal today and then left injured in the first inning. Waiting on an update from the Pirates, but it was a wrist injury that happened a few players before he left.
