The Pittsburgh Pirates have traded right-handed pitcher Parker Markel to the Angels for cash considerations.
Markel had a -0.2 WAR in his brief time with the Pirates, so already this is looking like a win for Kevan Graves, with cash considerations unlikely to put up negative value, and thus being an upgrade over Markel.
The Pirates do need to clear 40-man roster spots, so expect more moves like this to come in the next few days.
