Pirates Activate Josh Bell from Disabled List; Option Jose Osuna

Prior to Wednesday’s game in Colorado, the Pittsburgh Pirates activated Josh Bell from the 10-day disabled list. To make room on the 25-man roster, they optioned Jose Osuna to Indianapolis.

Bell was placed on the disabled list on July 28th with a left oblique strain. He batted once on July 27th before leaving the game early. Prior to the injury, he was hitting .266/.347/.402 through 104 games.
