Top Performers: Max Moroff Has Some Impressive Active Hitting Streaks

Published:

Elias Diaz

Elias Diaz, C, Indianapolis – 4.50 RC

Stats: 8-for-21, 2B, 5 BB

Notes: Diaz had struggled with the bat for a short stretch, but picked up the pace last week, while also showing a great ability to get on base. He’s not hitting for much power right now, but is doing a good job of hitting for average and getting on base, with a .271/.361/.353 line. If he can hit for average and get on base in the majors, he would be a starter with his defense. I think he’ll also be able to add some power, and spoke with a scout a few weeks ago who sees him hitting 10-12 homers a year.
