Notes From Pirate City: Major Leaguers in Camp

The AAA and AA teams are at home today, taking on the Yankees. Like yesterday, the Pirates will be sending over guys from major league camp to pitch an inning of work. Jason Grilli and Tony Watson will both start games today, with the regular minor league guys taking over from there.

The A-ball teams are on the road, although the lower level guys will play an intrasquad game at home. Here are the pitching lineups for each game.

AAA: Jason Grilli (Starter), Rudy Owens, Bryan Morris, Michael Dubee, Tim Wood, Mike Loree

AA: Tony Watson (Starter), Brandon Cumpton, Ryan Beckman, Brian Leach, Victor Black, Porfirio Lopez

A (Road Game): Quinton Miller (Starter), Eliecer Navarro, Jhonathan Ramos, Emmanuel DeLeon, Joan Montero

A (Road Game): Zack Von Rosenberg (Starter), Trent Stevenson, Orlando Castro, Cesar Lopez, Justin Ennis, Josh Poytress

Intrasquad Game

Team 1: Cliff Archibald (Starter), Luis Campos, Dovydas Neverauskas, Jackson Lodge, Roberto Espinosa

Team 2: Logan Pevny (Starter), David Jagodtish, Alex Lukashevich, Wilson Lee

The following players will be heading over to major league camp as backup pitchers in today’s game at McKechnie: Jose Diaz, Matt McSwain, Kyle Cofield, and Kris Johnson.
