Mark Bowden reports that the Pirates have claimed right-handed pitcher Chris Resop off waivers from the Atlanta Braves.

UPDATE (7:00 PM): The Pirates have also claimed Chan Ho Park from the Yankees. To make room for Park and Resop, the team designated Steven Jackson for assignment and placed Steve Pearce on the 60-day disabled list.
